At National Wind Assessments, we have been involved in the planning, permitting, and overall design of over 50 large “utility” scale (50 megawatts or more) wind farms across the United States. We have the knowledge and experience to guide our projects successfully through every step.

Our wind analysis division can prospect for potential sites, establish project footprints, implement and manage a successful data acquisition program, micro-siting, wind turbine layout and estimating the annual energy production of the wind farm.

We also calculate environmental issues such as noise (decibel), shadow flicker, zones of visual influence, in addition to presenting visual impact of the complete wind farm. We can provide a comprehensive wind energy assessment of your land to determine the viability of commercial wind energy production.

Our wind assessment services are confidential, even within our company. Our wind experts will attempt to avoid situations where we are working on competing projects. However, we recognize that even projects that are geographically remote may compete for the same RPS from utilities. We therefore maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
